Breathe

 For 5-10 minutes a day, practice deep breathing exercises.

Try box breathing and/or 4-7-8 breathing. Below is an explanation on how to practice both types of breathing.

 

Box Breathing

Practice your box breathing.
  1. Breathe in for four seconds

  2. Hold your breath for four seconds.

  3. Breathe out for four seconds

  4. Hold your breath for four seconds.

  5. Repeat steps 1-4.

 

4-7-8 Breathing

  1. Breathe in for four seconds.

  2. Hold your breath for seven seconds

  3. Breathe out for eight seconds

  4. Repeat steps 1-3.
